On the 2nd May 2009, after a long day out celebrating our first anniversary together I proposed to my girlfriend whom I first met at school at the tender age of 4. I proposed with the aid of a poem I wrote which was 3 pages long and with the line ‘Will you marry me?’ on the penultimate line.
