Movie review: Them (Ils) 2/5
This is a French horror film based in Romania. It basically follows the same plot lines as most ghost horrors instead this one is based on a real story. The scary monsters are replaced with real life 10-15 year old kids. It started off well enough with a mother and daughter being slaughtered in their car and the main 2 characters were nicely portrayed and built up.
From there it all went wrong. The scary bits weren’t very scary and the tense build up was no longer tense. I just started to get bored and when you see the kids, you feel like you could just bend their ear and they would concede like little babies. A nice build up but poor execution leads me to give a score of 2 out of 5.
